Footage Calc presents an efficient solution for calculating board feet and square feet, particularly in time-sensitive situations such as lumber yard visits. The application features a dedicated calculator section that streamlines various unit conversions.

The board footage calculator permits users to input essential dimensions—including length, width, and thickness—as well as the total number of pieces. Users can enter length and width measurements in both feet and inches, with fractional inches also being accommodated. The thickness can be entered as a decimal, while the number of pieces is limited to whole numbers. An optional price field allows for cost calculations, and descriptive labels can be added to each entry if necessary. All inputs are collated in real-time, providing a current total alongside a detailed table of previous entries. Upon completing the input process, users have the option to generate a CSV file containing all data, which can be emailed for further use.

The square footage calculator enables users to enter length and width measurements, with similar functionality in terms of input formats—allowing lengths as whole numbers and widths with decimal values. Each entry can be described for clarity, and the system maintains a cumulative tally of total square footage along with the piece count. Calculations for each input are displayed, and users can manage their entries by removing any that are no longer needed. Furthermore, the ability to export inputs to a CSV file facilitates easy sharing via email.

Additionally, the application includes a conversion feature that allows users to change numbers into fractions and vice versa. A length converter further enhances the tool by enabling conversions between various measurement units, including inches, feet, yards, meters, millimeters, and centimeters.
